Turnkey dwellings dwindle by over 20% in H1

As many as 18,674 turnkey dwellings were built in the first half of 2010, by 4,827 homes less than in the H1, 2009, read data the National Statistics Institute (INS) supplied on Thursday.
As many as 10,689 dwellings were finished in the second quarter of the year namely by 2,217 (20.74 percent) less compared to Q2, 2009.
The half-year drop posed for 20.5 percent.In terms of residential environments in the QII of both 2010 and 2009, most dwellings were built in towns or cities, namely 51.7 and 53 percent, respectively.
