Transgaz - ANRE proposes 9.9% efficiency factor over next regulatory period, up from 8% now
Raiffeisen Capital & Investment - 31 January 2012
The regulatory authority in the energy sector (ANRE) released its proposal regarding the efficiency factor which should be used to determine Transgaz tariffs over the next regulatory period of five years, beginning in July 2012.
The proposal stands at 9.9%, up from 8% agreed for the current period. The 8% efficiency factor translates into an annual adjustment of 0.91% in real terms of the revenues. We had assumed an efficiency factor for the next period equal to the current one. The proposal is currently under discussion with the company and we do not exclude a downward revision. Therefore, we view the news as neutral for the moment.
