BVB closes up on Wednesday, reaching past six month high

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday up, with the BET and the BET-C indices having reached their past six month high recorded in the first trade session of August 2011.
The BET-FI index of the financial investment companies also reached its highest level of the past seven months.
Trade on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Wednesday up, with the BET-C composite index advancing 1.45 percent, while financial investment securities recorded a 2.48-percent rise, as indicated by the BET-FI index.
Trade on the BVB Regular main ring was conducted in shares issued by 60 companies, 48 of which recorded growth, and 10 depreciated.
Total BVB trade stood at RON 66.856 million (15.388 million euros).
The BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks went up 0.79 percent, and the BET-XT blue-chips index of the 25 most liquid companies advanced 1.44 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities companies advanced 2.82 percent.
The most liquid stocks were Fondul Proprietatea, with trades of RON 21.17 million and SIF2 Moldova - RON 6.78 million.
