Fondul Proprietatea - State selects intermediary for Hidroelectrica IPO

The state published the official announcement requesting offers for the sale of a 10% stake in energy producer Hidrolecetrica through an IPO by issuing new shares.
Offers need to be submitted by March 01. We see the news as positive for the local capital market and for Fondul Proprietatea, which owns a 19.9% stake in Hidrolectrica, and which is currently valued at a discount due to the non-public status of the company.
