MAZARS ROMÂNIA S.R.L. - 25 October 2010
Mazars Romania, a company specialised in audit, accounting, tax and legal advisory services, has launched a taxation project online, Mazars e-Tax, which offers all those concerned the possibility to quickly, conveniently and efficiently benefit from the expertise of its professionals.
Mazars has created this interactive section with a view to assisting companies and individuals alike in getting informed of the rather frequent amendments to the tax legislation, in faster solving any problems raised thereby, just as in optimising their tax costs. Mazars professionals are ready to share their expertise and experience acquired in the over 15 years of sustained activity in the Romanian market, consisting of consultancy to multinational companies, local entrepreneurs and expats, representation before competent authorities and collaboration with major financial publications.
The subsections of this interactive site, such as Tax Procedures; Non-resident Income Tax; Transfer Pricing; Profit / Dividend Tax; VAT / Excise Duties; Customs Duties; Others, provide all persons concerned with pertinent responses to recurrent tax issues or to any other questions related to the current tax legislation, after filling out a special form. Such persons can also look into the database containing legislative news, which is updated shortly after being published.
For the time being, the access to this site is free and, hence, it neither requires registration nor does it impose any technical constraint.
Jean-Pierre Vigroux, Managing Partner: 'We have always thought of offering a sample of our versatile services the same as others offer a fabric or wine sample. Mazars e-Tax has emerged from this idea. However, our present and future clients must not forget that a sample is promoted to sell the product.'
Gabriel Sincu, Partner and Head of Tax & Outsourcing: 'While the 20th century was surnamed 'the century of speed,' it is more likely that the 21st century is to be named 'the century of the Internet.' Mazars is now part of the global economy and, therefore, Mazars e-Tax is but a natural step towards adjusting to the present times. We cherish the hope that all our clients will feel us even closer to their needs and will reckon Mazars to be a part of the solution to their problems.'
In the Romanian market, Mazars is one of the outstanding companies providing audit and advisory services, ranking sixth with a turnover of approx. EUR four (4) million in 2009. The local team comprises about 110 professionals (auditors, expert accountants, tax consultants and lawyers) who tailor their approach to meet every client's requirements, irrespective of the client's size, industry or business purpose. This privileged partnership with clients, alongside Mazars professionals' expertise and qualification acquired in compliance with the Romanian, French, German or British legislation, represents one of Mazars team's strengths.
