World Bank conference: Economic Recovery and Growth in Romania

World Bank has the pleasure to invite you to the international conference Economic Recovery and Growth in Romania, organized in cooperation with the European Commission and the Romanian Center for Economic Policies (CEROPE), and with the participation of representatives from the Government, National Bank of Romania, IMF, academy, private sector and a number of reputable international think-tanks.
The objective of the conference is to deepen the public debate on understanding the challenges of economic recovery and growth by also bringing into picture lessons from the experience of other EU countries in the areas covered by the event. The conference will seek to provide a platform for discussing views on the priorities of the Romanian economy in the short to medium term to consolidate macroeconomic stabilization and accelerate sustainable convergence with the EU.
The event will take place on Wednesday, October 26th, and Thursday, October 27th, from 9.30 AM to 4.30 PM, at the National Institute of Statistics, 16 Libertatii Blvd., Amfiteatru Hall.
