Deloitte to supervise CEEQA judging for 2011 awards

International business consulting firm Deloitte has agreed to supervise the voting and judging procedure for the annual CEEQA industry awards. CEEQA [CEE Real Estate Quality Awards] is the main annual industry awards and flagship event for commercial real estate investment in emerging Europe organised by CEE Insight Forum in association with the Financial Times.
The ninth edition of the awards will cover business activity in 18 countries across central and southeast Europe in 19 categories, They are for the best real estate projects, companies and industry professionals for business performance and achievement in 2011, nominated by industry professionals from across the sector and judged by a panel of senior representatives of market leading companies in the region.
The short list for the 2011 awards will be announced at a special event at MIPIM in Cannes in March, the awards will be presented at the CEEQA Gala at the Warsaw Marriott Hotel on 17th April 2012 attended annually by more than 500 business leaders from across Europe. In addition a further four awards for green building innovation and success in the region will be presented at the all day RealGreen Symposium & Fair preceding the CEEQA Gala, for the best green project of the year as well as the greenest developer, investor and service provider.
The role of Deloitte will be to monitor the existing voting and judging system, to manage the final judging and reporting of the results and to provide evaluation feedback and recommendations.
CEEQA was one of the first major industry awards in Europe to establish a peer group industry awards, employing a sophisticated statistical voting system and judging protocol to ensure democratic effectiveness and maximum objectivity and transparency in the final results.
