PEPSIAMERICAS - 22 June 2006
Alina Becheanu and Dan Enache, two employees of the QAB sales force, were designated winners of this year’s edition of the international competition Ring of Honour in the PepsiCo system.
The competition has been organized every year since 1999 and aims at recognizing and rewarding the performances achieved by the best sales agents in the world.
Alina Becheanu was one of the global competition winners in the PepsiCo system. The award was handed over by Steve Reinemund, PepsiCo Chairman and CEO, within a ceremony held in New York. Alina Becheanu practically doubled the 2005 sales volume compared to 2004, and the number of customers in her area has increased by 97% since 2003. Alina started to work with QAB 9 years ago, as a merchandiser, being later promoted to the position of sales agent; in the summer of 2005, she was appointed supervisor for the seaside region.
Dan Enache was among the winners for the region of Europe, the award ceremony taking place in Paris. By his activity in 2005, Dan generated a sales volume growth of 112.5% in the Alba Iulia region. He joined the QAB team two years ago, as sales agent.
These international performances of QAB’s employees are in line with the 2005 results of the company, which recorded a 48% turnover growth compared to 2004. As a result, the QAB management decided to grant, this year as well, a bonus of 1.1 million USD to all the employees having at least one year of service in the company and hold other positions than middle and top management.
