real,- Hypermarket enlarges its range of own brands by the launching of real,- Quality brand

Bucharest, May 19, 2009 - real,- hypermarket selling now private label under its own brand name. More than 200 real,- Quality products already on the shelves in all 21 stores of the real,- chain.
real,- Quality range of products are comparable to similar A-brand products in terms of quality but they come with lower prices that make them an attractive alternative for consumers. Being the flagship brand of real,-, one can save up to 20% in average when buying real,- Quality, in comparison to similar top-brand products.
"Through real,- Quality we would like to offer to all customer a better orientation for quality products comparable to the top brands of renowned manufactures. The real,- Quality range of articles boasts the same quality level but is distinctively cheaper. In a first step more than 200 real,- Quality products reached the shelves of real,- stores over the past few months. We will continuously increase the number of our own brands reaching 2000 articles by the beginning of 2012. On mid term our target is to reach up to 20% of food sales via an own brand" stated Tjeerd Jegen the Managing Director of real,- Hypermarket.
The range of real,- Quality articles is sold not only in real,- stores in Romania, but also in all 450 real,- hypermarkets in Germany, Poland, Russia and Turkey.
The wide range of real,- Quality products already includes assortments in the dry-food departments (different pasta assortment, rice, sweets, beverages, baking products, canned goods, detergents or cosmetics), but also in the fresh departments, with products such as cheese, sausages, bakery, pizza etc. Each article guarantees quality at a better price and the benefits of both good ingredients, similar to A-brands and good-looking packaging that comparable to those of A-brands. The campaign for real,- Quality brand launch is already on-air, being developed at national level, through all communication channels: TV and radio, press, outdoors etc. 1, 5 million copies of the special real,- Quality promotional leaflet were distributed to our customers all over the country. The real,- Quality launch campaign is only a first phase in an elaborate range of actions that the company will use in the future, to promote its private labels.
real,- Quality brand that best fits the slogan "Calitate la preturi neasteptate", is definitely a good deal for the whole family.
Simultaneously, real,- Romania also introduced in its stores another two own brands, real,- Bio - products of controlled biological origin - and real,- Selection - premium articles with the best quality -, brands that are already present on the German market as well. By the end of this year, real,- Romania plans to have on its shelves, approximately 140 real,- Bio and real,- Selection products.
