PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania will move its Bucharest headquarters to the new Lakeview building

Starting with the July 12th, PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania (PwC) will move its Bucharest headquarters into the new and state of the art Lakeview building.

The new contact details for the Bucharest office of PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania, will be:

Barbu Văcărescu street, nr. 301-311, 020276 Bucharest 2, Romania;

Phone number: +40 (21) 225.30.00 or +40 (21) 225.35.00.

Fax: +40 (21) 225.36.00

In the new location, the Bucharest PwC team of professionals will enjoy an area of approximately 7,000 square meters, double the size of the one PwC occupied in its previous Bucharest headquarters.

'Over the 19 years PwC operated in Romania we have grown alongside the Romanian economy. We have witnessed the country transform from a centralized, state-owned and state-planned economy, into a vibrant, mostly privately-owned economy, a country integrated into the European Union. This evolution has changed the pace of doing business in Romania and has transformed deeply the Bucharest urban and business landscape. Many companies have moved their headquarters to the northern part of the city and it came as a natural solution for us to do the same and move closer to our business partners', stated Vasile Iuga, Country Managing Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania.

PwC's constant concern for being respectful of the environment has influenced us in the decision of choosing the new building. The Lakeview office building is the first modern development in Romania that has received the BREEAM green building certification (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method). In Lakeview, PricewaterhouseCoopers Romania and the correspondent law firm D&B David şi Baias will occupy four floors.

'The new Bucharest headquarters in Lakeview building will provide us with a modern, pleasant and friendly work environment. It will also allow us further expansion of our expert team of consultants, when the economy recovers', added Vasile Iuga.
