SIF quotations decline 8.37pc on Friday

Quotations for stocks floated on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) declined 5.74 percent on the average on Friday, as reflected in the developments in the BET-C index, while securities traded by the SIF financial investment companies went down by 8.37 percent (the BET-FI) index.

On the BVB-Regular main trade ring dealings were performed in 51 stocks, three of which saw their prices rise, three saw them stagnate and 45 fall.

BVB trade stood at 2.549 million euros (RON 10.939 million), while RASDAQ trade reached 368,533 euros.

The BET index reflecting the developments in 10 most liquid stocks declined 5.82 percent, while the ROTX index went down 6.39 percent. The BET-XT extended blue-chip index declined 6.86 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy companies and utilities went down 5.53 percent.

The most liquid shares were Banca Transilvania (RON 1.814 million); SIF 3 Transilvania (RON 1.245 million); BRD (1.097 million); SIF4 Muntenia (RON 978,084); SIF 1 Banat-Crisana (RON 875,239).
