Fears on Romania's economy pull down the Bucharest Stock Exchange by 2.75% on closing

The alarming macroeconomic perspectives on Romania continue to affect the shares traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE), which lost an average 2.75 percent at the end of the day, after a different evolution than the other large European bourses, brokers deem.
Liquidity doubled to 15.20 million lei today (3.59 million euros), from 7.38 million lei in the previous session.
The BET index of the ten best companies on the market lowered 2.42 percent to 2,284.90 and the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares without financial companies dropped 2.75 percent to 1,515.20.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies known as SIF fell 3.71 percent to 10,435.76 and the ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna dipped 1.51 percent to 4,604.17.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid companies went down 2.90 percent to 218.40 and the BET-NG index of the ten power companies on the bourse tumbled 1.36 percent to 327.07.
The European bourses hiked significantly at the closing hour in Bucharest, on more expensive banking shares. The FTSE index in London advanced 2.45 percent to 4,297.09 and the DAX index in Frankfurt climbed 3.87 percent to 4,490.89. The CAC40 index in Paris gained 3.16 percent to 3,047.93.
In Romania, second bank by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) depreciated 4.44 percent to 6.45 lei and Austrian lender Erste Bank (EBS) boosted 5.21 percent to 50.50 lei.
Financial company SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) decreased 2.29 percent to 0.47 lei, SIF Moldova (SIF2) plunged 8.67 percent to 0.411 lei, SIF Transilvania (SIF3) cheapened 1.18 percent to 0.251 lei, SIF Oltenia (SIF5) lost 1.9 percent to 0.464 lei and SIF Muntenia (SIF4) lowered 4.67 percent to 0.51 lei.
Fertilizer producer Azomures (AZO) jumped 14.61 percent to 0.204 lei, while Romania's top oil company Petrom (SNP) slipped 0.61 percent to 0.164 lei.
As many as 3,200 securities issued by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development were traded on the bonds market today, worth 3.08 million lei.
