Bucharest Stock Exchange up 1.73 pct

The quotations of the shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) were up on Thursday by an average 1.73 percent, with the development being measured by the BET-C composite index, while the Financial Investment Companies (SIF) stock was up by 0.26 percent (BET-FI index).
Trade in shares issued by 47 companies was conducted on the main BVB Regular market, with 30 of such companies having seen a rise in their quotations, one keeping steady and 16 falling.
Trade on the BVB totalled 3.074 million euros (13.01 million lei), with RASDAQ trading amounting to 176,728 euros.
The BET index showing the evolution of the 10-most liquid listed shares was up by 0.87 percent, while the ROTX index went up 0.31 percent. The extended blue-chip index BET-XT was up by 0.79 percent, while the BET-NG index of the energy companies and utilities climbed 1.63 percent.
The most liquid shares were Banca Transilvania with trade totalling 3.16 million, BRD bank at 1.64 million lei, Azomures at 1.17 million lei and SIF2 Moldova at 965,500 lei.
