Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii tops 2008 merger and acquisition market

Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii law firm is placed first in 2008 Romanian Legal M&A Advisory League Tables made by Thomson Reuters with respect to the trading conducted in the domestic merger and acquisition market last year, the law firm said in a release.

According to the Thomson Reuters methods, the merger and acquisition trading becomes eligible if it meets a range of specific criteria. For example, real estate transactions worth less than 100 million dollars, real estate projects related to land sale and buying, acquisitions of any kind of projects that are not fully operational are not eligible, the law firm explained.

Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii qualified for the tables by six completed transactions worth a combined 665.46 million dollars, while another nine transactions pending completion amount to a combined 596.60 million dollars.
