Interamerican becomes Eureko

Currently, Eureko has in Romania over 350,000 clients with polices active in the insurance and privately managed pensions segment. This year, the company launches new life insurance products, starting with a unit-linked product, having the option to choose a guaranteed fund intended for the cautious investors.

In 2009, Eureko will extend its network of providers of medical services around the whole country with special partners in order to offer its clients a greater mobility in the choice of the providers of medical services. "The year 2009 will be a challenge for all the activities that we provide in Romania. We are delighted to have near us a shareholder that wants to invest in the long run on the local market. For Eureko in Romania, this year is challenging but also interesting with so many initiatives and projects in progress," declared Frans van der Ent, country manager Eureko.

In 2009, Eureko will continue to develop its distribution capacities by restructuring the network of agents, through the implementation of a network of sales to the big clients and the expansion of the cooperation with the brokers and the distribution partners.
