Farmaceutica Remedia estimates sales to hike by 14.5% to lei 150 mn this year

Romanian Farmaceutica Remedia Deva (RMAH) expects this year's sales to be worth 150 million lei and to generate a net profit of 2 million lei, declared the company's financial director Robert Peloiu.
The company now owes suppliers 1 million euros. It runs 45 pharmacies, concentrated in the western part of the country, but wants to extend around other distribution points nationwide.
Farmaceutica Remedia shares have today been transferred from Rasfaq to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE). An hour into the session, investors transacted 165,500 RMAH shares for 18,235 lei and the quota was camping at 0.11 lei per title.
The company initiated on November 28, 2008 a selling offer of 7.57 million shares at a price of 0.20-0.50 lei per share. The offer will close on March 4.
The share capital stands at 9.85 million lei, divided among 98.5 million shares at a face value of 0.10 lei. The main shareholder is the board president Valentin-Norbert Tarus, who controls 71.05 percent, while the investment fund Artio Global Management Llc (ex Julius Baer) holds less than 5 percent.
Farmaceutica Remedia has a market value of 10.84 million lei, according to the 0.11 lei quota ascertained in the last bourse session.
