Italian company eyes producing electricity from trash in western Arad county

The company will access European funds to collect and deposit waste and then transform it into electricity, mayor Ion Micurescu said.

The local authorities will grant the investors a piece of land while the latter will create jobs and ensure for free street lighting, the mayor said.

Another foreign investor from Austria will start an investment in bio diesel producing, with costs of 10 million euros.
