Most companies listed with BVB to post this week financial results for 2008

Most companies listed with the regulated market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) will post this week their preliminary financial results for 2008, in conformity with the financial schedule published on the BVB site.

'In a domestic context full of uncertainties, many surprises are possible from the listed companies. They can be both negative and positive and can generate higher volatility in the market, ' said Andreea Gheorghe, broker with Intercapital Invest.

So far, two listed companies have reported substantial growth in the financial results in 2008.

Port operator SOCEP Constanta has announced, for 2008, a surge of 193.36 percent in its net profit and of 33.63 percent in turnover, and Turism Felix reported a net profit 38 percent up and a turnover 28 percent up from 2007.
