Reinvested profit, tax-exempt as of Q2

The measure of exempting the reinvested profit from taxation is to be enforced as of Q2 of 2009, Prime Minister Emil Boc said on Monday at the Parliament Palace.

'This measure will stimulate the investors' appetite and the job creation, as well as the establishment of new SMEs,' Boc explained.

The Government will issue an emergency ordinance to change the Fiscal Code and will regulate the exemption from taxation of the reinvested profit, the PM said last week.

This is one of the measures included in the anti-crisis package.
