Minister for SMEs meets with World Bank representatives

A delegation of the Ministry for Small and Medium Sized Companies, Trade and Business Environment (MIMMCMA) headed by minister Constantin Nita on Tuesday has met with head of the World Bank office in Romania, Benoit Blarel, reads a ministry release.
Minister Nita presented on this occasion the measures planned in the context of the economic crisis, to fight its negative effects over the business operators, the SMEs in particular. The measures are aimed to increase the SMEs' access to financing, simplified and improved legislative framework, less bureaucracy, easing the fiscal and administrative burden and encouraging a competitive environment.
In his turn, Blarel presented the most recent report on Romania issued by the WB. The document includes recommendations of specific fields with a view to fighting the effects of the global crisis. In this context, Blarel underlined the BW's openness towards granting a support likely to contribute to an efficient economic management of the crisis effects over the Romanian SMEs
