Romania's financial sector drops 2.2% at rising bell, on slight market decline

The five financial companies in Romania known as SIFs posted a correction of over 2 percent in today's first transactions on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE), putting an end to five consecutive days of growth, as the market slipped, on low transactions.
The BET index of the ten best companies on the market fell 0.33 percent on opening to 2,227.27 and the BET-C composite index measuring all listed shares without financial companies lowered only 0.12 percent to 1,474.45.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies SIF posted the biggest loss of 2.21 percent while the ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna idled at 4,333.88.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks eased 0.86 percent to 212.33 and the BET-NG index assessing the ten power companies fell 0.34 percent to 329.76.
