IBM Romania initiates partnership in education and research with Bucharest Academy of Economy Studies

IBM Romania and the Bucharest Academy of Economy Studies (ASE) on Friday signed a Partnership in the education and research field, reads an IBM release.
The partnership is aimed at increasing competences of ASE graduates in the field of software and informational technologies and their use in economic applications, with a view to preparing highly qualified labour force, adjusted to the current requirements.
IBM will ensure free training to the professors that will hold the classes and practical activities. The partnership is also aimed at supporting recruitment and employment of highly skilled labour force in the IT industry, at promoting innovation in education and academic research, consolidating mutual relation between two vital fields of the company, the field of information technology and the economic one.
IBM Romania continues, therefore, the strengthening of cooperation ties with the elevant universities of engineering profile, economic profile and fundamental sciences, being an active and constant partner of the Romanian academic climate. The current company is connected: technically, economically and socially. The priority is an inflow of brains in the systems, processes and practices from all these sectors of the society. Education represents one of the essential components to the development of an intelligent society.
