TMK Artrom Slatina posts losses worth 64.4 billion lei in 2008

Pipe maker Artrom Slatina, southern Romania, closed the year 2008 with losses worth 64.485 million lei, with the total revenues amounting to 753.608 million lei, and the expenses standing at 818.094 million lei, said the preliminary financial results of the company, sent to Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).

In 2007, the company posted 21.4 million lei in net profit.

Last year, the net turnover of the company stood at 678.876 million lei. The debts stood at 675.529 million lei, and the liabilities at 113.559 million lei.

The main shareholder is TMK Europe GMBh, with 80 percent shareholding. Financial Investment Company SIF Oltenia holds 12.19 percent of the shares of the company.
