BVB: SIFs dip 6.15pc

Stocks traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) dived 4.17 percent, on the average, on Monday, as reflected in the developments of the BET-C main composite index, while securities traded by the SIF financial investment companies declined 6.15 percent, as reflected by their BET-FI index.
Trade on the BVB-Regular ring, the main ring, was performed in 53 stocks, two of which went up in value, three stagnated and 48 went down.
BVB trade stood at RON 8.98 million (2.08 million euros), while trade on the RASDAQ ring totaled 692,000 euros.
The BET index reflecting the developments in the 10 most liquid stocks declined 4.46 percent, while the ROTX index decreased by 4.85 percent. The BET-XT index of blue chips declined 5.17 percent, while the BET-NG index of energy and utilities stocks went down 3.1 percent.
The most liquid shares were BRD, with dealings of RON 1.06 million; Banca Transilvania (RON 957,000); SIF 5 Oltenia (RON 890,000), and SIF 2 Moldova (RON 780,000).
