Atlassib holding diversifying with new milk factory in Sibiu

The Atlassib business holding controlled by businessman Ilie Carabulea has opened a new milk factory at Cisnadie, Sibiu County, Horticola International Service SRL, which will be manned by 26 staff, the factory's director, Alin Moldovan, told Agerpres.

Carabulea says the new milk factory is built according to the latest rules of the European Union and is currently the best equipped such factory in Romania.

Started in September 2007, the milk factory investment requested 2.8 million euros to complete, more than one million of which were contributed in SAPARD funds.

Horticola Service is manufacturing a whole range of chesses and dairy products, which it intends to trade all over Romania.

Among the best known business fields where the Atlassib holding is operating are domestic and international passenger transportation, provided by Atlassib, and banking services, provided by the Sibiu-based Banca Carpatica.
