Financial companies or SIF add 2.65% on the Bucharest Stock Exchange at closing, on a growing market

Indexes on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) stepped back in the green with climbs between 2.65 and 4.43 percent after three sessions of panic and massive sales, and shares of lenders Banca Transilvania and BRD SocGen recovered some of the losses, on higher transactions. Liquidity reduced 6 percent at the end of the day to 10.73 million lei (2.49 million euros), from 11.41 million lei in the previous session. The BET index of the ten best companies on BSE rose 4.43 percent to 1,974.26 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares without financial companies increased 3.53 percent to 1,322.11.
The BET-FI index assessing the evolution of the five financial companies known as SIFs advanced 2.65 percent to 8,651.18 and the ROTX index for trading blue-chips in Vienna went up 2.85 percent to 3,677.56.The BET-XT index assessing the 25 most liquid companies on the bourse advanced 3.82 percent to 185.20 and the BET-NG index reflecting the evolution of the ten power companies added 3.59 percent to 301.36.
European bourses had a mixed evolution at the closing hour in Bucharest. The FTSE index in London lowered 0.74 percent to 4,004.23 and the DAX index in Frankfurt slipped 0.08 percent to 4,213.23. The CAC40 index in Paris idled at 2,875.28. Fifth lender by assets Banca Transilvania (TLV) was the most liquid stock today with deals of 1.95 million lei and hiked 6.67 percent to 0.72 lei.Second bank by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) jumped 7.86 percent to 4.53 lei and Austrian lender Erste Bank (EBS) plunged 7.55 percent to 30.60 lei.
Financial company SIF Transilvania (SIF3) inched 1.97 percent to 0.207 lei, SIF Oltenia (SIF5) climbed 4.17 percent to 0.375 lei, SIF Moldova (SIF2) upped 2.3 percent to 0.312 lei, SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) appreciated 1.45 percent to 0.42 lei and SIF Muntenia (SIF4) gained 3.13 percent to 0.429 lei. Romania's top oil company Petrom (SNP) increased 3.62 percent to 0.143 lei and fertilizer producer Azomures (AZO) grew 2.47 percent to 0.166 lei.
