Financial company SIF Banat-Crisana posts 22% smaller net profit last year, to 95m lei

One of the five financial companies in Romania, SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1), announced the net profit last year reduced by an annual 22 percent to 95.44 million lei, following the cutback in the current activity.
In 2007, the company's net profit stood at 122.81 million lei.
Assets reduced from 2.02 billion lei in 2007 to 1.01 billion lei last year. Revenues from the current shrank 32 percent from 182.97 million lei to 124.52 million lei. However, spending was trimmed by 47 percent to 27.86 million lei, from 52.19 million lei in 2007.
Company shares are listed on the first tier of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) under the symbol SIF1. SIF Banat-Crisana has a share capital of 54.88 million lei, divided into 548.85 million shares at a face value of 0.10 lei.
The last trading price was of 0.375 lei today, which gives the company a capitalization of 205.81 million lei.
