Quotations of shares listed on BVB, slightly up

Quotations of the shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Monday appreciated by an average 0.13 percent, evolution measured by the composite BET-C index, while the shares of the financial investment companies (SIFs) listed on the BVB have dropped by 1.03 percent (the BET-FI index).

Shares issued by 45 companies were traded on the BVB Regular market, the quotations of 16 of them went up, 6 stagnated and 23 plunged.BVB transactions totaled 2.012 million euros (8.65 million lei) and the RASDAQ ones amounted to 91.053 euros.

The BET index showing the development in the ten most liquid listed stock went down by 0.83 percent, whereas the ROTX one went down by 0.31 percent. The BET-XT of the energy and utilities companies dropped by 0.07 percent with the BET-NG index of companies in the energy and utilities sector having fallen by 1.12 percent.

The most liquid shares belonged to Petrom, with transactions worth 2.354 million lei, to BRD - 874,219 lei, Banca Transilvania - 660,178 lei, Condmag - 393,746 lei and Rompetrol Refinery - 278,666 lei.
