BVB: Financial investment companies SIF up 4.92 pct

The quotations of the shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) were down on Tuesday by an average 0.49 percent, with the development being measured by BET-C composite index, while the stock of the financial investment companies SIF was up 4.92 percent (BET-FI index).

Trade in shares issued by 48 companies was conducted on the main BVB Regular market, of which 22 recorded rises in quotations, seven stood steady and 19 fell.

Trading on the BVB totalled 2.43 million euros, while trading on RASDAQ amounted to 176,422 euros.

BET index showing the evolution of the 10 most liquid listed shares was down 0.4 percent, while ROTX index fell 0.57 percent. The expanded blue-chip index BET-XT was up 1.45 percent, while BET-NG index of the energy and utility companies was down 0.7 percent.

Petrom stock was the most liquid with 1.76 million lei worth of trade, followed by BRD bank with 1.5 million lei, Banca Transilvania bank with 1.15 million lei and Rompetrol Rafinare (refinery) with 575,000 lei.
