MFP sold T-bonds worth 2.77 billion lei

The Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) drew on Monday over 2.77 billion lei, in an issue of T-bonds with discount, put up for auction through the National Bank of Romania (BNR) with 270 million lei more than it was scheduled.

The T-bonds are due in three months and the average level of the yield the issue was bought is of 11.49 percent. The average moderate level of the rate of discount was of 11.16 percent.

The overall value of the issue was of 2.5 billion lei and the overall demand by the 12 banks that participated in the auction was of 4.09 billion lei.
