Survey: over three quarters of managers forecast worsening of companies' situation

Over 75 percent of the managers of companies in Romania estimate the companies situation will worsen in the upcoming period, mainly as regards the orders and sales, according to a survey of consultancy company Roland Berger.
The effects of the crisis will last over a year in Romania, say 54 percent of the respondents, whereas 41 percent expect the unfavorable situation to last more than two years, show the data presented on Wednesday, March 11, at a banking seminar by Codrut Pascu, managing partner at Roland Berger.
As many as 88 percent of companies' managers forecast they will encounter problems in orders or sales, 83 percent in revenues and 60 percent in the financing segment.
'56 percent of managers expect to cope with bankruptcies of some customers in the next 12 months,' said Codrut Pascu.
