BNR Governor Isarescu attends first meeting of inter-ministerial committee on IMF agreement

The ministers making up the inter-ministerial committee established to negotiate over an agreement between the Romanian Government and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) convened on Friday in session at the Government House, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Emil Boc.

Also attending the meeting was Governor of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) Mugur Isarescu.

The inter-ministerial committee is composed of nine ministers, including Finance Minister Gheorghe Pogea, Economy Minister Adriean Videanu, Transport Minister Radu Berceanu, Labour Minister Marian Sarbu, and Development Minister Vasile Blaga.
