Public Finance Ministry sells T-bonds worth 2 bln lei

The Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) on Monday drew over billion lei through an issue of T-bonds with discount, put up for auction by the National Bank of Romania (BNR).

The T-bonds are due in 6 months and the average level of the yield the issue was bought for accounts for 11.49 percent. The moderate average level of the discount rate was of 10.86 percent.

The overall value of the issue was of one billion lei and the overall demand by the 12 banks that participated in the auction was of 2.653 bln lei.
