Bucharest Tourism Fair

About 300 companies from 14 countries are attending the 21st edition of the National Tourism Fair at Romexpo Exhibition Center, under the aegis of the Tourism Ministry and in partnership with the County Chambers of Commerce and Industry and the tourism associations, on March 19-22.

Companies from Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Italy, UK, Poland, Romania, Turkey and Hungary will show their exhibits over 14,000 sq.m., while Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Turkey and Tunisia are participating as official attendees.

Almost 190 new companies join the traditional exhibitors in the 2009 edition of the Fair.

It is worth mentioning that a considerably large number of foreign tourism companies and tour operators are attending the event, namely the Greek exhibitors cover 300 sq.m., and the Bulgarian ones 200 sq.m. As a matter of fact, beside individual exhibitors, Greece is represented by an impressively large number of prefectures willing to promote their tourism potential, namely Corfu, Kavala, Kefalonia&Ithaca, Lefkas, Magnisia, Thessalonica, Zakynthos.

Romania's Tourism Fair brings together the elite tourism companies, organizations and associations, travel agencies and tour operators, airline companies, insurance companies and banks, organisers of congresses and business tourism, publishing houses, culture institutions.

Expo Sports and Entertainment international Exhibition showing sports and entertainment products, items, equipment and vessels, and Kidex the international exhibition showing products and articles for children, toys and games take place during the same period.
