Equity quotations on BVB surge 5.37 pc

Quotations of the shares listed on Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) appreciated significantly on Thursday, by 5.37 percent on average, according to BET-C Index, whereas the financial investment companies - SIF climbed 3.39 percent (BET-FI Index).

On the main Regular BVB market transactions with equities issued by 48 companies took place, of which 40 showing rises, two stagnations and 8 declines.

The value of BVB transactions amounted to 4.618 million euros (19.834 million lei), and 427,417 euros on RASDAQ.

BET Index, reflecting the evolution of the most liquid 10 listed equities, recorded an appreciation of 5.65 percent, and ROTX Index rose 9.17 percent. Extended blue-chip Index BET-XT rose 5.18 percent and BET-NG Index of the energy and utilities companies appreciated 3.52 percent.

The most liquid titles were those of BRD - with transactions of 4.708 million lei, Transilvania Bank - 2.581 million lei and SIF 2 Moldova - 2.224 million lei.
