Romanian stand in international fair in Berlin, awarded prize

Romania's stand presented by the Ministry of Tourism at the Trade Fair in Berlin, was given the second prize, at the Best Exhibitor Award Fair in Berlin - Category Europe.

The other two contestants, who have gone to the podium, at this category, have been Northern Cyprus , rank, and Turkey, rank 3..

There have been more than 11,000 displayers.

Tourism Minister Elena Udrea, present at this year edition of ITB Berlin, said that the fair has given Romania an opportunity to consolidate its position on the German market of tourism and to promote its destinations and products among the biggest tour operators worldwide.

The International Stock Exchange in Berlin is the biggest fair of its kind in the world.

In the past few years, Romania has participated, on a regular basis to this exhibition, with a view to increasing the tourist attractiveness of the country.

The Best Exhibitor Award Prizes are given on an annual basis by Cologne Business School - a partner of Messe Berlin, the exhibition complex that has hosted the fair, under the patronage of the head of the Tourism Association in Germany (DRV). The criteria at the basis of the evaluation regard the design, the attractiveness and representativeness of the stand for the country promoting it.
