Vodafone: reduces prices by 27% for international calls

Vodafone Romania announced reductions up to 27% for international calls of clients owners of Vodafone card and Vodafone Avantaj.

As of yesterday, Vodafone clients can make phone calls to all fix European networks and to mobile Vodafone and partner networks at the price of 0.40 euro/minute, 27% less than the previous price of 0.55 euros/minute.

International calls to other mobile European networks cost 0.50 euros/minute compared to the previous price of 0.60 euros/minute. Clients of prepaid and Vodafone Avantaj services will benefit from the same low prices of 0.50 euros/minute. For fix and mobile calls to the USA, Canada, Hawaii, or Israel clients will pay the same price of 0.55 euros/minute as against 0.55 euros/minute the previous price.

Vodafone Romania, a division of Vodafone Group Plc, had 9,649,709 clients at the end of 2008. The company has divisions in 27 countries on five continents and over 40 partner networks in the whole world. The main competitors of the company in the Romanian market are Orange, Cosmote and Zapp.
