Share capital of Artrom raised almost ten times

The share capital of TMK Artrom has been raised almost ten times, from 30.792 million lei to 291.79 million lei, according to a press release sent to Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB).
The share capital has increased by 103,983,274 shares, worth 2.51 percent each.
The raise has been operated from two sources, the value stood at 76.981 million lei (representing 30,670,050 shares given for free) from reserves and at 184.016 million lei (representing 73,313,224 shares), with cash contribution made by the shareholders who have had preemption rights.
Pipeline maker TMK Artrom ended the year 2008 with losses of 64,485 million lei, with total revenues standing at 753.608 million lei, according to preliminary financial results sent to Bucharest Stock Exchange.
In 2007, the company saw a net profit worth 21.4 million lei.
Last year, the net turnover of the company stood at 678.876 million lei. The debts of the company stand at 675.529 million lei, and the liabilities at 113.559 million lei.
The main shareholder is TMK Europe GMBh, with a contribution of 80 percent of the share capital. SIF Oltenia holds 12.19 percent of the shares of the company.
