COMCM Constanta traded on the Stock Exchange

COMCM Constanta, a company in the business of construction and industrial production for construction, is being traded as of Tuesday, April 7, on the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
COMCM is a company with 100 pct Romanian capital established in 1990 following the reorganization of the former General Building-Assembly Enterprise Trust. The major activity consists of concrete production plus auxiliary activities in civil and military engineering, stone plate works, pre-fabs, the marketing of construction materials and hotel services.
In 2008 the company made a pre-tax profit of RON 12.1 million for a turnover of RON 64.42 million. Its operating profit was RON 10.31 million and the financial profit stood at RON 1.78 million. (1 euro trades for RON 4.15)
The company's major shareholders are SIF Transilvania with 56.7247 pct, and Constantin Fratila, company vice-president, with 32.75076 pct.
The share capital of COMCM Constanta was increased in 2008 from RON 1.997 million to RON 23.63 million to support its development and modernization program. The share capital is divided into 236.31 million shares with a face value of RON 0.1 per share.
The company's development strategy for the interval 2008-2012 provides the finalization, this year, of the merger by absorption of Scut SA.
