Airfield for very light jets to be erected in Western locality Siria, in Arad county

The airfield will stretch on a landing 1,400 meters long and 100 meters wide. Another 14 hectares will be used to set up a natural landing line.

The head of air club in the county capital Arad is mulling moving its sports section to Siria where the geographical conditions are very good for taking off and landing.

There are 25 very light private jets in Arad country, 10 gliders and four utilitarian planes used mostly in agriculture.
