Vulcan Co. concludes contract with HS Energy
AGERPRES - Romanian News Agency - 13 Aprilie 2009
Vulcan SA concluded a contract in the value of three million euros with HS Energy, Austrian company specialized in production of industrial energy stations.
The contract provides the construction by the Romanian company this year of a boiler/incinerator system for a plant in Sicet, Italy.
'The contract represents a significant recognition of the products made by Vulcan, especially under conditions in which the company did not have lately an importance presence on the markets in Central Europe. As well, this contract represents an important basis on which we can develop a portfolio of international clients for Vulcan, without ignoring our traditional partners', stated Peter Eisenkolb, CEO of Vulcan International.
This is a second contract concluded between the Romanian company and HS Energy after a first one in 2008, at a lower value.
'HS Energy returned as a client with a much more important contract, both from the technical point of view and a financial one. Negotiations are ongoing for some other projects and we believe this is just a first step on a long cooperation way ahead', stated Peter Eisenkolb.
Vulcan SA is a company specialized in the production of steam generators and is listed on Rasdaq market of Bucharest Stock Exchange. The company had profit last year, reporting a revenue in the value of 1.63 million lei (443,000 euros), and in the same interval it doubled its turnover from 43.2 million lei (12.9 million euros) to 91.35 million lei (24.8 million euros).
