Romanian stocks speed up at rising bell, recouping from yesterday's dive

Financial companies at the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) rallied at opening spurred by the recovery of American markets where investors turned to financial companies once again.

The BET index of the ten best companies on BSE advanced 2.16 percent to 2,820.69 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares without financial companies climbed 1.59 percent to 1,790.02.

The BET-FI index measuring the five financial companies known as SIF soared 4.26 percent to 15,083.35 and the ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna grew 2.60 percent to 5,652.11.

The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks rose 2.92 percent to 284.01 and the BET-NG index of the ten power companies on the bourse increased 0.73 percent to 380.39.
