MFP sells treasury bills worth more than 242 million lei

The Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) on Monday placed a one year treasury bill issue via the National Bank (BNR), raising RON 242 million lei for an average yield of 11.50 percent per annum, announced the Central Bank of Romania.
The weighted-average level of the discount rate stood at 10.30 percent.
The total value of the issue accounted for 1 billion lei, with the total buy bids of the 12 banks in the tender having stood at 1.245 billion lei.
