BVB closes session high

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened high its session on Monday, with the general composite index of the market - BET-C having registered an appreciation by 2.65 percent, while the trading of the stocks belonging to the financial investment companies (SIFs) was suspended.
The trading of the SIFs' shares has remained suspended since Friday, ahead of the annual Ordinary General Assembly of Shareholders.
There were traded stocks issued by 38 companies on the main BVB-Regular market, 29 recording appreciations in the quotations, one stagnating and 8 seeing fall.
The total value of trades on Monday on the BVB stood at 1.706 million euros (7.202 million lei), and on the RASDAQ at 331,717 euros.
The BET index of the ten most liquid shares listed increased 3.36 percent, with the ROTX index having climbed by 1.89 percent. The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid companies, increased by 2.05 percent, with the BET-NG index of the energy and utilities having went up by 2.12 percent.
The most liquid shares belonged to BRD (Romanian Development Bank) -trades worth 1.673 million lei, SSIF Broker - 1.152 million lei, Banca Transilvania - 1.082 million lei, Biofarm - 938.449 lei and Petrom - 533.557 lei.
