BNR: Population's deposits stand at 36.24 billion lei on March 31

The deposits in lei (national currency) of the population totaled 36.248 billion lei (some 8.429 euros) on March 31 and the deposits in foreign currency (denominated in lei) had reached 25.070 billion, announced on Wednesday, April 29, Romania's National Bank (BNR). The loans in lei on March 31, stood at 23.287 million lei.

In Bucharest, on March 31 the population had deposits at terms totaling 10.645 billion lie and loans totaled 23.287 million lei. The deposits in foreign currency of Bucharesters (in lei terms) totaled on March 31, as many as 13,078 billion and the liquid assets at sight totaled 5.189 billion lei.

The term deposits in lei of companies per total reached 17.433 billion lei on March 31 and at 8.893 billion lei in Bucharest.The business operators' term deposits in foreign currency per total were of 13.433 billion lei and in Bucharest of 10.986 billion lei. The liquid asserts, term deposits, repayable deposits after notification of residents stood at 96.957 billion lei on March 31, denominated. In Bucharest they totaled 41.884 billion lei denominated.
