Lafarge Agregate Betoane cement maker sees business plunge 42 pct in Q1

Bucharest, May 13 /Agerpres/ - Lafarge Agregate Betoane cement maker posted 14.62 million lei of turnover in the first quarter-year, by 42 percent less than in the same period a year ago, according to figures sent to Rasdaq.
The company losses went up 3.5 times over Jan.-March to 5.014 million lei. The revenues amounted to some 20.7 million lei and expenditure totalled 25.287 million lei.Lafarge Agregate Betoane is one of the biggest producers of construction materials in Romania.It was set up in Dec. 1999 by the merger and integration of several companies.
