Bucharest Stock Exchange down 3 percent on opening

The quotations of the shares listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) were down in the opening of the trading session on Monday, with BET-C composite index decreasing 3.16 percent.

BET-FI index of the financial investment companies SIF was down 0.65 percent, while BET index of the 10 most liquid listed stock shrank 1.78 percent in 5 opening minutes.

ROTX index lowered 3.25 percent, whereas the expanded blue-chip index BET-XT relating the 25 most liquid stock went down 1.51 percent, while BET-NG index of the energy and utility companies was down 1.25 percent.

The BVB liquidity totalled 149,600 euros; shares worth a total 700 euros were transferred on the BVB RASDAQ market in the 5 opening minutes.
