MFP sells T-bills worth 520 mln lei

Ministry of Public Finance (MFP) gathered on Monday more than 520.53 million lei (some 121.05 million euros, editor's note) by an issue of T-bills with discount, auctioned through the National Bank of Romania (BNR).

With one-month maturity, the T-bills profitability rate is of 10.51 percent. The average discount rate stood at 10.42 percent.

The total value of the treasury bill issue was 500 million lei and the total demand of the 12 banks participating in the auction stood at 1.772 billion lei.
