Romania's stock market continues on the upward slope, financial companies add 5.72%

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) ended today's session with powerful hikes of up to 5.72 percent on the financial sector, after descending in the first part of the day, as brokers say the recoup is normal after the past falls.
Liquidity stood at 23.53 million lei (5.63 million euros), slightly down from 28.62 million lei in the previous session.
The BET index of the ten best companies on the market grew 4.43 percent to 3,073.32 and the BET-C composite index assessing all listed shares without financial companies upped 2.57 percent to 1,966.54.
The BET-FI index of the five financial companies also known as SIF advanced 5.72 percent to 15,990.18 and the ROTX index for trading blue chips in Vienna increased 3.37 percent to 6,095.77.
The BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks climbed 4.62 percent to 302.29 and the BET-NG index of the ten power companies rose 5.50 percent to 463.18.
Second Romanian lender by assets BRD SocGen (BRD) was the most liquid stock today, with deals of 8.05 million lei, and hiked 5.84 percent to 7.25 lei. Banca Transilvania (TLV) cheapened 1.52 percent to 0.97 lei.
Financial company SIF Oltenia (SIF5) rallied 7.10 percent to 0.83 lei, SIF Moldova (SIF2) jumped 6.15 percent to 0.69 lei, SIF Transilvania (SIF3) upped 6.23 percent to 0.4090 lei and SIF Banat-Crisana (SIF1) appreciated 4.67 percent to 0.7850 lei.
Largest Romanian company Petrom (SNP) surged 7.77 percent to 0.2220 lei.
