BVB, third on top of growth in region

The representative index of Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) rose in the month of May, compared with April, by 9.6 percent, placing BVB third among the growths in the region, after Hungary and Austria, daily Financiarul writes.

Also in the classification of the past three months, the hierarchy is kept, with the BET index ranking third, with a 15.2 percent rise. although the value of the transactions in May diminished by some six percent vs. April, reaching 502.62 million lei, the capitalization of the market rose to 53.7 billion lei, vs. 48,6 billion lei, at the end of April.

'The international context is very difficult, but the contradictory news continue to fuel the indecision of the investors. This lateral movement can continue up to the moment of reports for the first half of the year, but in this case, volatility will be higher than in the past month, ' said analysts from Intercapital Invest.
